Who's bright idea was it to combine a Cinco De Mayo Celebration with the end of the year talent show? Who thought ~ "lets feed all the parents and kids free nachos and soda an hour before it starts?"
Surely it wasn't me because that would be fairly crazy!
I can't recollect the exact conversation but Obviously I had something to do with this. There was a conversation at some point with the Principal and we both agreed it was a great idea. Are you kidding me? I should be "UN-elected" for such stupidity! Mass hysteria and indescribable confusion are the two best words to describe the evening!!
As people began flooding the cafeteria it soon became evident that the 300+ RSVP's we had received were actually legit!!!!
The highlight of the evening for me was my adorable red head in his debut duet with a GIRL! aka Jacqueline Waller (who thinks he's cute)....... I've heard whispers that he thinks she's cute too but notice the huge gap between them! Their High School Musical song was great and a definite crowd sing a long favorite!
Wrapping up the night "Put on a Happy Face" ~ So I'll pretend to put one on. I had to sleep all weekend to recover from the insanity. But now its over ~ for at least another year!
