Happy 9th Birthday Noah!

Oh sweet darling boy ~ 9 years old and so full of potential and promise. You are a joy in my life. You are my little miracle boy.

I remember the day I found out I was expecting you. I prayed and prayed while I waited for the results of my pregnancy test. 2 weeks later I cried and prayed as I had some complications but you remained fine. You kept your "manhood" a secret from us until I was 33 wks along and WOW was Joshua excited when he found out you were a brother.
Your nursery was painted yellow and blue with moons and stars. Hand me downs were prepared....new clothes were abundant and the day of your arrival finally came. I tried to labor with you but God knew you were going to be sick and couldn't handle the stress of labor.
You were a BIG baby and had lots of hair. You nursed great from the start and I was just so happy.

When you got very sick on day 2, I can't describe the emotions of fear and yet peace that God was going to do whatever was best for you. When you were 5 days old and you crashed again they made me go home. It was one of the worst moments in my life. I cried the whole way home from the hospital and laid on the floor in your nursery begging God to heal you and let me bring you home.

9 days later we drove you home from the hospital. You have had health ups and downs but God has been so gracious to you and us. I am positive He has something Amazing in store for you Noah.

You were a fun baby! Full of smiles. You absolutely adored your big brother and as your sisters came along you were always super sweet with them too. You love playing soccer now and you are amazing with a bow and arrow.

Noah, I just want to remind you of one thing on your 9th birthday. We have so much to be thankful for as we look over the first 9 years of your life. All the odds were stacked against you (statistic wise) and sweet heart.....God saved your life twice. Once when you were newborn and the second time when you accepted Christ as your Savior. Daddy and I can't describe the joy and pride we felt when you said you wanted to be a preacher like Grandad.

If those plans change and God leads you in a different direction someday ~ just follow Him baby. Trust Him and listen to Him and He will never guide you wrong.

I love you so much ~ The happiest of Birthdays to you my dear.
