M-I-C-K-E-Y M-O-U-S-E

When you plan for 3 long years for something that you want sooooo badly there is quite a let down when its over. Not that it takes away from the magic of the moment you achieve your dreams but still there is an emptiness there. Lucky for me today I picked up all my pictures and the Magic is Back Baby!!!!

WOW!!! We had a wonderful time! I'll start by stating that it was sooooo very HOT and soooooo very crowded (worse than we've ever experienced) but it certainly didn't hold us or the kids back. And PTL it was much better than rain! We left on Sunday Aug. 5th and had 7 glorious days in Walt Disney World. Here are a few (and believe me they are only a few compared to the 600+ I get to scrapbook!) that I thought highlighted our trip the most.

My children preparing to get on the plane.

Caitlyn is in tears (she was scared to death about the flying part and demanded to know WHY we couldn't drive there!), Madi already was refusing to join in the picture fun and J & N were thinking, "Is this what the whole week is gonna be like?" Mom's answer, "YES!"

This is on the free transfer WDW provides to its guests now. Saves you about 100$ but we had to wait almost 45min just to get on one. So if your not anxious like us its Great! (Oh and our flight was about an hour delayed so that could have been part of the bus delay.....) Needless to say seeing those beautiful gates of WDW made the wait frustration disappear and everyones heart start pounding a little faster in excitement.

We checked into our hotel and hurried off to the parks. I'm going to go ahead and post a few pictures from our hotel. We stayed at a Pop Century Value resort (taking you through the highlights of the 60's-90's and it is as its name states. There are no luxuries, hammocks, or beaches. But the shower is hot, the pool is cool, and the beds are cozy. We love it because its all so very kid friendly and decorated really neat!

"Fooz Ball"

"Big Wheel" I had one of these!!!!!

"Yo-Yo"

"Twister Fun"

Computer Key Board and Walkman

Jungle Book

Roger Rabbit

Some of the fun things we did in the parks thoughout the week ~

Character Breakfast at Chef Mickey's ALL 18 OF US! It was a lot of fun for the kids. Nice time to get the characters one on one. (Or in our case one on 9)

Madilyn meets Cinderella.

Noah conquers the Tower of Terror. He was scared but very brave and proud of himself when it was over.

Who needs a bed when they can use a hard plastic stroller?????

Noah and Josh with Bruce from Finding Nemo.

J.J. Rides his first roller coaster with his dad, Vince, and Josh. They are in the white shirts 3 cars up. This is Expedition Everest in Animal Kingdom. Vince says its the best wooden roller coaster he's ever been on.

Caitlyn and her fairy godmother above transform her into Cinderella for the day. Here she is getting prepped.

A princess is "born"

The "Princess" has arrived and EVERYONE with in distance could tell. She paraded around all day with a huge smile plastered on her face. Not one time did she complain that her feet hurt or her dress was hot. It was all about her highness and her fantasy come true. I must admit we fed the monster and made her worse. Especially her brothers who decided to live it up as her "bodyguards". She posed for every picture she could get taken of her and ordered her royal family around.

Noah got selected as the Honorary Citizen of the Day and got to officially open the World of Disney store. He got a pin and certificate. His proud big brother took this picture.

Magic Kingdom Fireworks from Grandma and Grandpas beach at the Polynesian.

Whats this? A stolen kiss. A rare moment with mommy and "growing up" son..... sniff sniff!

Fun building sand castles with Grannie on the beach

The girls dancing and doing the moves during the High School Musical Parade. They LOVE that movie!

This is my group with James, Gma and Gpa at the Finding Nemo musical. Noah got a little booboo and the park attendees were so sweet they bumped us up to VIP's and we got the best seats in the house. "Thanks Noah!"

You'll have to see my entire scrapbook to appreciate the week completly and I'm sure I'll bore you with it once its finished. For now let me close with ~ as fun as the week was and as wonderful as the Magic of Disney is.....
Nothing gives a parent more pleasure than seeing love and excitement on their kids faces! Look at them here at the airport with my dad! I could've saved myself a bunch of money and just asked him to not see them for a week and meet us at the airport!!!!!

Just kidding ~ We are sooooo blessed!
