It has been a big week for the Kile Family.
Last Tuesday Joshua started his new private school and I picked up a new "hat" as his homeschool teacher! Quite interesting thats been! Here is his "first day" picture. He's TOO OLD to stand in front of the school for me so this is right before we left the house.
He really seems to like the structure of the school so far. And if I do say so myself we are doing well together for Science and History. Yesterday my parents took him to Glenrose because we are studying fossils and dinosaurs. I LOVE that we get to input Creationism into everything. And when he comes home with Bible verses in Math and English it makes me want to cry!
Yesterday, Noah started 2nd grade. This was a big one for me. I think because thats about the time I became a stay at home mom with Josh (and others) and I just remember a lot about that year. Plus I met a lady who would become a friend I truly cherish that year.
He seems to like his teacher a lot. She is new this year but I like her. He is in class with most of the friends he made last year so thats fun for him.
And then there is my PreK "princess". All day long....."Is it time yet mom?" She goes to school from 12-3pm. We started getting ready early. She picked her clothes, socks, and shoes.....hair bows and told me how she wanted it fixed..... We put on a tiny bit of lipgloss and painted her nails. (Insert rolling eyes!)
Thankfully, she enjoyed it and came home happy and excited to show me her folder!

Look at Noah coming out of the 2nd grade door! All the kids look so cute on their first day of school! It makes me miss it!
