At the end of the year last year I was nominated for Duncanville Council PTA. Vince thought it was an amazing honor. I thought it was a desperate plea for people because no one else would do it. LOL!
Joshua's school was looking for volunteers so I'm now their New Parent Liaison...answering questions and hooking old families up with new families.....Not too bad. I'm also helping buddy Jen with Teacher Appreciation (but that involves food so~ cool!)
Now on to Hyman. I've served my two year term as President and was quite ready to step back and let someone else hold the reigns. Unfortunately the two ladies who we had ready to go have now suddenly backed out. Enter sucker Shaunna who just can't resist. I love our school, the faculty, and especially our principle. Lucky for me I have Jen who is ever faithful to help.....
Back to council PTA. My first "duty" as Vice President was to fill in for my chief while she was out of town. With less than 24 hours notice I had to write and give a speech in front of every teacher, staff, custodian, cafeteria worker, and administrator in Dville. I was scared to death but it all worked out and I obviously survived. The pictures are of the crowd....
So... busy times are here again.....

I don't know how you survive! And you're such a good Mom and good friend. When I grow up I hope I can do it all like you :)
Daddy always says, "If you want a job done, ask a busy person to do it!"
Just remember to keep Jesus FIRST and give Him his time with you before everything else gets in the way each day. He will help you know what's important and keep you on track.
