Work out Woes !

Now don't fall out of your computer chair! You read that right!

W-O-R-K-O-U-T

I'm so frustrated. I'm in the middle of my 3rd week of working out and I'm so discouraged. Joshua and Vince are seeing the pounds drop from the scale and I haven't lost one ounce! I'm doing cardio 5 days a week, weights 2x's a week, and racquetball 4-5 days a week.

I must say that part of it I love. I'm with 2 friends who motivate me and push me and its soooooooo much easier to go knowing they are waiting on me to get there! They are trying to get me to play on their women's soccer league but I don't know about that one yet.

I just wanna see some results. Vince says my butt is getting tighter (but he'd do anything for.....well you know), and I *think* I can tell a little bit in my pants. But I want the scales to roll back!!!!!!

As for diet I guess I'm gonna have to get even more strict. I've cut out all soda, I had only 1 piece of Halloween candy ((((1))))), we aren't eating out much and when we do its Subway or Chick fil A, and I'm charting 1200-1500 calories a day so who knows!

That's enough whining for now ~ I'm off to the gym

Shaunna, I am SO PROUD of YOU... and Vincent and Joshua. I'm happy that you are excited to go to the gym and meet friends. You have done everything for everyone else for SO LONG! It is past time that you do something for yourself! Eat healthy and keep exercising; stop watching the scales if that is discouraging you. You are setting such a fantastic example for your husband and children. You and Vincent have to stay healthy to be here for those precious blessings from God; they need you both to be at your best.
J...Jesus first.
O...Others second.
Y...Yourself last. (But, Jesus wants you to be healthy and happy and if you are healthy and happy then you are working for Him more with a joyful attitude and you are able to do for others because you are taking care of Yourself.
Love,
Mom

Shaunna, I know how you feel. Throw out the scale or at least put it away. It will only discourage you when you don't see what you want. You will be able to notice from your clothes! Who needs a scale!!!!! Muscle weights more than fat...so obviously you balancing them out right now...keep going and hide the scale!
