It was a sad sad day in the Kile household this week when...... My Joshua deemed himself too old to have his picture taken with Santa. :tears:
He was actually very sweet about it. He told the other kids who thought this was completely incredulous that while Santa would still bring him a present there is a time when you no longer sit and talk with him. He "knows" older kids so well that he already knows what they wants and its the brother and sisters "turn" to get more time with the big guy.
They seemed to buy his story. He was a great Santa....taking lots of time with each one of them and talking personally with them about what was on their lists. He made R2D2 noises for Noah, and thought Madilyn's High school Musical sample was sooooo cute. With a wink in his eye after a nod from Daddy he promised Caitlyn a Hannah Montana doll if she would be a good girl.
Another year gone :sniff: :sniff:

Oh Shaunna, You are so nice. I have told my two older boys that as long as the two younger kids want to visit Santa they will also. I tell them to just stand up there by Santa and smile. (The faster they smile and cooperate the sooner we will get it done.) You are never too young for pictures with Santa. Josh, have you not heard " when you stop believing you stop receiving." LOL
Know- I am just messing with y'all!

And, at church this morning, Noah told us that HE would NEVER be too old to sit on Santa's knee and tell him what he wanted for Christmas and have his picture made with Santa.
Vincent and Shaunna, You two are so......BLESSED! God has so richly blessed you both with love for one another and all of those wonderful children.
