Joshua very serious prepares for his next school lesson. He has made us so proud this first six weeks! He has adjusted wonderfully to his new schedule and has a whole new outlook on
'school life'. Its a joy having him to myself more often. He's growing up so fast....... 11 in Dec!!!
My sweet heart Madilyn (especially sweet when she's asleep!) is really sick right now. High fever and tummy aches. She just wants to sleep, watch sponge bob, and be held.
Grannie came over today and rescued me so I could help Josh with homework. She brought Sprite, and popsicles, and her magic hugs........Here they are cuddling. Grannie always makes the kids feel better!
Now my grown up little girl Caitlyn. I try to get the kids involved in helping with household chores. We make games out of it and I try to often reward them for "helping" just because..... This morning I asked Caitlyn to put the clothes in the dryer on the sofa while I went and took the sheets off Madilyn's bed. When I got back to the living room.......She had loaded the dryer with clothes from the washer and started it ALL ON HER OWN! I asked her how she knew what buttons to push and she said from watching me............ YAY! (did I mention I hate doing laundry?)
Finally, I wanted to share a paper Caitlyn did for her Grannie. She won't be 5 until the end of November but she's been practicing her name and numbers very diligently.

Caitlyn's writing is amazing too! I can't believe she did that at her age!
Poor Madi. She looks so sweet in those pictures.
And I'm so happy Joshua is doing well at his wonderful, new school!
